SoundHound∞ - Music Discovery App Reviews

I loved Sound Hound, and used it instead of Shazam, but its falling behind. They have no Siri integration, and no Apple Watch complication. Its no longer a battle of equals, like Coke vs. Pepsi, its more like Coke vs. RC.

Love to use sound hound but man yall need to bring back the Apple Watch features

Its too bad because this app used to be really good until recent. Ive had it for many years and it was wonderful. Now I am lucky if it can identify any songs. Also, I want an app that either is not clustered with junk or gives me the ability to customize the main screen. I dont care one bit for the video of the week, new songs, and all that other junk that shows up. I also should not have to go hunting down the button to identify a song in some submenu. Sorry but the whole app needs to be redone. And specially the main screen cleaned up.

The app is great. However I have a pretty big bug to report. Whenever I am using the app to listen to music. When I switch screens the music stops playing from my Bluetooth headphones and plays from my iphones speakers. This is a big problem since the iPhone 7 is moving towards wireless systems.

A fantastic app at one time. It has lost its way.

This app was cool a while ago and then a few months ago fell apart: takes forever to load, doesnt detect songs 90% of the time.

This app has helped me discover some of my favorite music! Distress is when I hear a great song on the tv & dont have my phone handy. Thanks SoundHound

Sound hound is great w/ 1 exception – the coverage of the blues is not as deep as I need.

Been using this app for a few years now and have to say- its nice to see an app continue to improve what works, instead of reinventing their app. Many companies do the latter and seem to never get back to where they were before the change.

Needs a lot more live lyrics support among other things.

Update killed the lyrics?! I cant see them anymore. I tried the competition and they show the lyrics of whats playing. How can that be?

The app was amazing until it stopped connecting to Spotify. I have to connect Spotify every time I open the app in order to add songs to my playlist.

Ive used this app for many years and I love the app and it almost always finds the song without issues, and its nice way to find new music. Just one nice feature I wish the would add is when you search a lyric playing in you head it would be nice to be able to narrow it down by type of music Iv got the lyrics of a country song playing in my head but when I search it I get fat joe, Hollywood undead, and beastie boys

I had both but noticed I never used the other. SoundHound delivers.

Always relayed on sound hound for my searches.. But last week I was at a dance party and sound hound could not recognize any of the songs playing (great tunes btw).. Downloaded Shazam just for the hell of it and guess what.. It recognized EVERY song thrown at it.

It is a good app but sometimes it doesnt recognize what Im searching for, especially club mixes.
